Tailor-made solutions for electronics design and manufacturing service come from alpha board. Among the company's core competencies are the development of electronic modules and systems, and the unbundling of circuit boards. In addition, alpha-board offers EMC, signal integrity, and thermal simulation.
The Application Center Microsystems Technology of the Fraunhofer IZM offers companies the full range of technical services for successful innovation, from technology consulting via product development to the provision of laboratory capacity.
Special emphasis is put on the integration of electronics, sensors and actuators.
The Application Center for Microtechnology (AZM) at BESSY exists since 2001 in Berlin-Adlershof. The main objective of the BESSY - AZM is the development and provision of micro-engineered production technologies based on synchrotron radiation, LIGA and direct LIGA technology and related microtechnology manufacturing processes for industrial partners.
In addition to LIGA technology, BESSY - AZM develops new processes and procedures for the manufacture of micro-and nanostructures made of silicon, polymers and metals.
The AZM team can support the activities of our industrial partners in all phases of designing and implementing a micro structure process all the way from development of the design through production.
EMIL-NET stands for the development of microsystem technology for innovative food production (“Entwicklung von Mikrosystemtechnik für innovative Lebensmittelerzeugung“). EMiL is an association of predominantly Berlin and Brandenburg scientific institutions and enterprises. The regional research and development potential in microsystems is pooled and networked with that in food production and processing.
Areas of emphasis are:
At the European Center for Micro-and Nano-reliability (EUCEMAN) interdisciplinary research and development and cooperation in identified areas of micro-and nanotechnology are being pursued. Material reliability, components, systems and procedures as well as their applications for companies are main emphases, either in technology or in everyday life.
The center’s core mandate is the tight networking between research institutions and industry and society, with special emphasis on the creation of synergies in the above mentioned areas for the EU member states. They can benefit from EUCEMAN in planning and creation of activities all the way to project management.
The Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Micro Integration (IZM) supports companies in the broad application of microelectronic and microsystems components. Together with the Research Cluster Microperipheric Technologies of the Technical University Berlin, the IZM offers a powerful research, development and service potential, especially in the areas of:
The Micro Materials Center Berlin (MMCB), as part of the Fraunhofer IZM, is one of three German centers of excellence in micro-technologies, supported by the BMBF.
Its role is to develop economic processes for production of micro parts with special material-specific properties and reliability characteristics in order to meet the increasing demand for micro parts with special requirements from the telecommunications, automotive engineering, analysis, chemistry, medicine, and measuring and control technology industries.
Microsystems Technology Baden-Württemberg e.V. (MST BW) was established in 2005 in cooperation with the State Ministry of Economy. MST BW represents in Baden-Wuerttemberg in the field of miniaturization - especially in the field of micro-technologies and related fields - the interests of industry, research institutions, universities and institutions.
The Application Center “Smart System Integration” is located at the ZEMI partner Fraunhofer IZM and is funded by the BMBF.
Companies benefit from a targeted transfer of ideas and visions for application through regular product workshops and a customer-specific innovation scout. In addition to the analysis, design and simulation techniques for product design, the equipment and laboratory capacities of the Fraunhofer IZM offer advantages, in particular for SMEs. Above and beyond technology management, the IZM develops application-specific system architectures and design rules for new technologies.
The Center for Microsystems Technology, ZEMI, is active in promotion and strategic development of the competence areas optical technologies and microsystems technology. ZEMI is a network of research institutions in Berlin, which bundles the regional research and development potential in microsystems technology.
ZEMI is available as contact broker for industrial collaborations. Services:
