Herr Prof. Dr. Kurt Busch wurde für seine bahnbrechenden Beiträge zur Theorie und Modellierung komplexer photonischer Systeme und zur Entwicklung der entsprechenen Rechenmethoden sowie ihrer Anwendungen auf die Lichtausbreitung und die Licht-Materie-Wechselwirkung zum "Fellow of the Optical Society of America" ernannt.
